The available public record for Wan Basor Ali bin Wan Salim consists solely of two lost candidacies — the 1959 federal seat P11 Baling as an independent and the 1964 Kedah state seat N9 Langkawi under PAS — and contains no other biographical, legal, corporate or financial information. Because the records do not establish any office held, assets, affiliations beyond the candidacies, or any integrity matters, every due-diligence dimension other than electoral history is marked "open." The brief recommends targeted searches in SPR, Hansard, ROS, SSM, JPN, news archives and enforcement databases before any assessment of profile or risk can be made.
