Overall due diligence
Insufficient evidence
Records consist solely of two official state election results; no other reporting on office, integrity or financial matters is provided.
Electoral resilience
Open
Only two elections (2004, 2008) are on file, so a resilience trend cannot be assessed from the records.
Political continuity
Open
Both recorded contests are under GERAKAN/BN, but the record window (2004-2008) is too short to judge longer party/coalition stability.
Integrity signal
Open
No integrity-related records provided; absence of records is not evidence of a clean record.
Financial / corporate
Open
No company-registry, asset, credit or corporate-role records provided.
How much due-diligence attention each area needs — not a finding of wrongdoing.
Records show a 2004-2008 state assembly term only; no records of any office held after the 2008 loss.
No records document any role, transaction or case beyond the two election results.
No procurement, contract or government-dealing records are on file.
No SSM, GLC or directorship records are on file.
No court-registry records are on file.
No MACC, regulatory or criminal records are on file.
No asset-declaration or financial-disclosure records are on file.
No media, reputational or complaint records are on file beyond the two election results.
The records establish only that Teo Eng Tee (also identified as Teo Kok Chee) won the N48 Skudai Johor state seat in 2004 on a GERAKAN/BN ticket with a 2,193-vote majority and lost it in 2008. No information is on file about his occupation before, during or after the assembly term, any subsequent candidacies, business roles, or any integrity, regulatory or legal proceedings. Because the public record provided is limited to these two results, the brief marks every other diligence dimension as "open" and recommends concrete SPR, Hansard, SSM, MACC and court-registry checks before any assessment of the wider profile.
