Current
Overall due diligence
Moderate
Enhanced due diligence required
Three-term federal MP per records, but the file contains no post-2013 records, no corporate/asset/financial checks, and no integrity or litigation records, leaving most dimensions open and warranting enhanced verification.
Electoral resilience
Medium
Three consecutive wins in P93 Sungai Besar (2004, 2008, 2013) but the majority narrowed sharply, from a 7,349-vote cushion to a 399-vote margin.
Political continuity
Stable
Contested and won all three elections under UMNO/BN; no party switch or coalition change documented in the records, though records end in 2013.
Integrity signal
Open
Records contain no allegations, charges, investigations or acquittals, but the absence of integrity records is not evidence of a clean record and key checks remain open.
Financial / corporate
Open
No SSM company searches, asset declarations, Auditor-General reports or PEP-asset data are in the file; corporate and financial checks entirely open.
How much due-diligence attention each area needs — not a finding of wrongdoing.
Three-term federal Member of Parliament on record (2004-2013), which carries elevated PEP exposure by virtue of the office alone.
No records document committee roles, party posts, alliances or networks beyond contesting P93 under UMNO/BN.
No procurement, contract award or government-project records are in the file.
No directorships, shareholdings or GLC appointments documented in the records.
No civil or criminal court records provided; status entirely open.
No MACC, PDRM, parliamentary-select-committee or court findings are recorded.
No asset declarations, tax filings, Auditor-General entries or media-financial investigations are in the file.
No media reports, MCMC records or reputation-research outputs are provided.
Noriah binti Kasnon is documented as a three-term UMNO/BN Member of Parliament for P93 Sungai Besar, winning in 2004, 2008 and 2013 with a sharply narrowing majority. Aside from these three verified electoral results, the due-diligence file contains no corporate, financial, procurement, litigation, regulatory or media records, so her integrity, financial-transparency and network profile is effectively open. Given her federal parliamentary office and the breadth of unexamined dimensions, enhanced verification is warranted before any substantive judgement.
