Overall due diligence
Insufficient evidence
The provided records contain only official general-election results for Bentong (GE10–GE15); they do not document any role, allegation, asset or proceeding, so the public record is too thin for a fuller assessment.
Electoral resilience
Medium
Four consecutive wins from GE10 (1999) to GE13 (2013), but majority collapsed from 16,839 to 379 before two consecutive losses in GE14 and GE15.
Political continuity
Stable
Stood as MCA/BN candidate in every recorded contest from 1999 to 2022; no party or coalition switch documented.
Integrity signal

Financial / corporate

Records contain no SSM filings, asset declarations, GLC appointments or company-directorship information.
How much due-diligence attention each area needs — not a finding of wrongdoing.
Four consecutive parliamentary wins imply former Member of Parliament status; current parliamentary status is not active based on GE14 and GE15 losses.
No caucus, cabinet, party-appointment or coalition-role records are in the supplied set.
No ministry, agency or procurement-related records are documented.
No company-directorship, GLC board or foundation records are provided.
No civil, criminal or regulatory proceedings appear in the records.
No MACC, PDRM, SUHAKAM or regulatory determinations are recorded.
No asset declarations, income disclosures or beneficial-ownership records are present.
No media-monitoring, ADUN/state-record or reputation data are included.
The supplied public record on Liow Tiong Lai is limited to six official general-election results for the Bentong parliamentary seat (1999–2022). She is documented as the MCA/BN candidate in every contest, winning four consecutive elections with a steadily shrinking majority before losing the seat in 2018 and 2022. No information on parliamentary portfolios, cabinet office, corporate appointments, integrity matters, or finances is present in the records, so those dimensions remain open; further verification through primary sources (Parliament, SPR, SSM, MACC, court registry, Auditor-General) is required before any broader judgement can be made.
