Overall due diligence
Insufficient evidence
Only a single official election result is on file, which is too thin to support a substantive due-diligence assessment.
Electoral resilience
Low
Lost GE15 in P70 Kampar with 655 votes; no prior or subsequent election results are documented in the records.
Political continuity
Open
Only one candidacy on record (P70 Kampar, GE15, under WARISAN); broader party or coalition history is not visible.
Integrity signal
Open
No allegations, charges, convictions, acquittals or dismissals are recorded; absence of records is not evidence of a clean record.
Financial / corporate
Open
No company-registry, asset-declaration, MACC check, Auditor-General review or credit information is in the records.
How much due-diligence attention each area needs — not a finding of wrongdoing.
No current or past elected or appointed office is documented beyond a losing candidacy.
No documented relationships, faction roles or endorsements beyond a single WARISAN candidacy.
No office or government role on record that would create a procurement interface.
No company, foundation or GLC appointments are documented.
No civil or criminal matters are recorded in the available set.
No MACC, PDRM, immigration, bankruptcy or regulatory findings on file.
No asset declaration, donor disclosure or beneficial-ownership information in the records.
No press coverage, fact-checks or reputational reporting is in the records.
The available records are limited to one official election result: Leong Cheok Lung contested the P70 Kampar (Perak) state seat in GE15 (2022) as a WARISAN candidate, receiving 655 votes and losing. Because no other reporting, court records, asset declarations, party files or media coverage are in the record set, integrity, financial, corporate and network dimensions cannot be assessed and are marked open. EDD is not triggered on what the records show; the gaps themselves, however, justify routine baseline checks through SPR, SSM, SPRM and Malaysian court registries before any further reliance.
Public-record review · allegations ≠ findings · a charge is not a conviction · every point links to its source record (E official results, R reviewed records, N collected reports). Prepared by AI from the records on this page; not an analyst finding, and it can be wrong.
