Overall due diligence
Moderate
Enhanced due diligence required
Multi-term MP and long-standing MCA/BN officeholder raise PEP exposure, but the records cover only electoral results, leaving integrity, financial, litigation and corporate checks entirely open.
Electoral resilience
High
Lost first contest in 1969, then won five consecutive elections through 1990, with majorities rising from 1,374 to 9,691 across redelineations.
Political continuity
Stable
Continuously in MCA from 1969; coalition rebranded from PERIKATAN to BN with no party switch recorded.
Integrity signal
Open
No integrity, criminal or regulatory records are in the file, so this dimension cannot be assessed from the supplied evidence.
Financial / corporate
Open
No SSM, asset-declaration, credit or GLC-directorship records are in the file.
How much due-diligence attention each area needs — not a finding of wrongdoing.
Five-term state/federal lawmaker in MCA/BN between 1969 and 1990, including federal MP status from 1982 onward.
No records documenting patronage networks, party positions or associations beyond ballot outcomes.
No procurement, contract-award or government-tender records in the file.
No SSM, directorship or GLC appointment records in the file.
No civil or criminal court records in the file.
No MACC, IRB, Bursa or other regulatory findings in the file.
No asset-declaration, source-of-funds or credit-bureau records in the file.
No media, civil-society or reputation monitoring records in the file.
The supplied records establish only Lee Kim Sai's electoral history as an MCA/PERIKATAN then MCA/BN candidate in Selangor between 1969 and 1990: a single loss in 1969 followed by five consecutive wins with steadily widening majorities across three redrawn constituencies. They document no government portfolio, no corporate or GLC role, and no legal, regulatory or reputational matter of any kind. Because the entire due-diligence file consists of clean ballot results dated up to 1990, enhanced due diligence is still warranted to close the open integrity, financial, corporate, procurement and litigation dimensions before any reliance is placed on this profile.
