Red flags / areas of concern

Two consecutive election losses, including a constituency switch, may affect future electoral viability and are worth tracking against any by-elections or seat moves.E1 E2

Mitigating factors

Records contain no allegation or charge against him; absence of records is not evidence of a clean record and other areas need more verification.E1 E2 E3

Recommended next steps

1Pull full SPR (Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya) records and any by-election participation to confirm complete electoral history.
2Search Parliament Hansard for speeches, bills and questions tabled between 2008–2013 (Kluang term) to verify parliamentary activity.
3Run SSM company-director searches on the full name and known variants to map any directorships or GLC links.
4Check MACC, PDRM and Malaysian court e-filing systems for civil or criminal matters.
5Review SPR and Registrar of Societies filings for any MCA division or coalition-level office held.
6Scan mainstream Malaysian media archives (The Star, Malaysiakini, Malaysiakini's ElectionUndi, Astro Awani) for any reporting on him beyond election results.

Assessment

The public record supplied for Hou Kok Chung is limited to three official general-election results showing one win (P152 Kluang, GE12) and two losses (GE13 Kluang, GE14 Tebrau) under MCA/BN. No office held beyond the 2008–2013 Kluang term, no corporate, asset, court or integrity reporting is included, so the integrity, financial, corporate, litigation and network dimensions cannot be assessed and remain open. Enhanced due diligence is not indicated on the available record, but the file is too thin for any higher rating.
