Overall due diligence
Insufficient evidence
Records on file consist solely of three official election results; not enough material to rate PEP exposure or other risk dimensions.
Electoral resilience
High
Three consecutive wins in Johor on the UMNO ticket (PERIKATAN then BN) with majorities of 2,066, 1,822 and 6,705 votes.
Political continuity
Stable
Continuous UMNO membership across PERIKATAN (1967, 1969) and Barisan Nasional (1974); constituency moved from N26 Tampoi to N30 Skudai between 1969 and 1974.
Integrity signal
Open
Records contain no allegations, charges, convictions, acquittals or dismissals; not an indication of clearance.
Financial / corporate
Open
No company-registry, asset-declaration or financial checks on file.
How much due-diligence attention each area needs — not a finding of wrongdoing.

Only election outcomes are on file; no documented relationships, faction links or alliances.
No procurement, contract award, or government-project records on file.
No company or GLC directorships on file.
No civil or criminal court records on file.
No MACC, PDRM or regulatory findings on file.
No asset declarations, insolvency records or financial disclosures on file.

The supplied public record for Elias bin Udin is limited to three official Johor state-election results showing him winning N26 Tampoi in a 1967 by-election and 1969 general election, then N30 Skudai in 1974, each time on the UMNO ticket under PERIKATAN or Barisan Nasional with sizeable majorities. No offices beyond state assemblyman, no corporate roles, and no integrity, financial or litigation matters are documented in the file. Because the file is essentially three election lines, overall risk is rated "insufficient" and every dimension other than electoral resilience is marked "open" pending verification; expanded searches at SPR, the Johor state assembly, SSM, MACC and the courts are needed before any substantive judgement.
