Overall due diligence
Insufficient evidence
Enhanced due diligence required
Only a single 2018 state-election result is on file, so the public record is too thin to complete even a basic due-diligence assessment.
Electoral resilience
Low
Lost the 2018 N44 Karamunting contest with 61 votes, indicating very limited electoral standing on the record provided.
Political continuity
Open
No record of prior or subsequent candidacies, party roles or coalition affiliations beyond a single STAR contest.
Integrity signal
Open
No allegations, charges, convictions or acquittals are documented; absence of records is not evidence of a clean record.
Financial / corporate
Open
No company-registry, asset, credit or GLC checks are in the records.
How much due-diligence attention each area needs — not a finding of wrongdoing.
No office held on record; PEP status cannot be determined from a single lost candidacy.
No documented relationships, party positions or alliances beyond the 2018 STAR candidacy.
No tender, contract or government-procurement record supplied.
No SSM, GLC or foundation roles in the records.
No civil or criminal court records supplied.
No MACC, police, Bank Negara or regulatory findings on file.
No asset declarations, tax filings or financial disclosures provided.
No press coverage, social-media or reputation data in the records.
The public record provided contains only a single data point: a 2018 Sabah state-election loss in N44 Karamunting under STAR with 61 votes, and nothing more. Because no office, party role, corporate position, court matter or media item is on file, the integrity, financial and litigation dimensions remain "open" and should not be read as clean. Enhanced due diligence is needed simply because the record is too thin to complete a basic assessment; the listed nextSteps (SPR, SSM, court registry, MACC, ROS, Hansard, Auditor-General) are the minimum checks required before any conclusion can be drawn.
