The records establish only that Abd Taib bin Abu Bakar was UMNO/BN's candidate for Johor N26 Machap and won both the 2013 and 2018 state elections, with his majority compressing from 3,902 to 404. No integrity, corporate, financial, litigation or media information is on file, so most due-diligence dimensions are marked "open" rather than assessed as low risk. Any PEP-level review should proceed via SSM, MACC/SPRM, SPR and state-hansard checks before drawing conclusions about current office or exposure.
